Installed my Tri-Ax

And WOW! I am finding myself jamming the shifter into gear because I feel like I'm still in neutral. I love 5th now. Before I felt like I was getting ready to feel up the person riding shotgun because I had to throw it over so far. I also threw on a new shifter boot because the old one had a hole the size of a cigarette lighter in it (don't blame me). I'll throw some pics up tomorrow when I have some light.

i put mine in a couple weeks ago. do these things break in because mine is hard to get in gear, especially reverse when i first get in it.

Tri-Ax was my first mod. and yes, it does break in the more you use it.

From what I've heard, reverse on mustangs is a bitch anyways. I almost always throw mine into 5th before reverse. If it still doesn't work, I run through all the gears, before going into reverse. I've had my tri-ax on for a few years now, and it's still a pain to get into.

that's a problem with the T-45's. i think there was a technical service bulletin on them.

the 3650's are a bitch too if it wont go in R i just hit 1st then it usually pops right into gear

you got a 3650 tranny so get that one... I got one for my 2000 the t-45 one and I love it. It really makes it fun to drive.

If you just need one to throw in a car sure but I'm serious about it having a hole in it about the size of a half dollar.
