Cowl, or heat extractor hood for 99-04 body styleKeanan 2inch cowl with hood scoop, is it open at the windshield? http://www.stangparts.com/products/p...wSpecials=TRUE Cobra style heat extractor from Cervini:https://www.cervinis.com/shop/product.asp?id=617 or Kaenan: http://www.stangparts.com/products/p...wSpecials=TRUE Cobra R style hood, and just open the vents up: https://www.cervinis.com/shop/product.asp?id=177 Saleen S281 hood:http://www.saleen.com/SC101_Services...temNum=034-019 Saleen S281E hood:http://www.saleen.com/SC101_Services...temNum=034-028 Older Cobra R style:https://www.cervinis.com/shop/product.asp?id=176 Steeda Q400 hood:http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/9900hoods.htm I don't mind cutting into the hood to open things up as long as It'll stay structurally sound and the hood wont suddenly fly up at high speeds. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any other ideas. |

I like the Q400 personally. I have yet to see a Mustang running around here with one of those hoods.
If you want an easy fix.. Get a piece of tin and shape it to the GT hood so that it is protected. I can't think of how to mount it exactly but it'll save the paint since the heat won't be directly on the fiberglass. |

The Saleen S281E hood is sickdiculous, but probably the most expensive, but holy hell is it awesome.

Cobra R hood. You can get one with the working vents on ebay, but look out for hidden costs.

I apologize again. I was looking for these pictures pics of a badass Mach 1 with custom emblems I saw and looked through all these threads to find it. While I was here I decided to put in my $.02 on the topic. LOL
