new huge cowl hood

well a friend from another forum sold me his old hood. it was to tall for him to see over really well as he is kinda short. the hood was in an accident and has a small 3 inch crack on the driver side front that is going to be fixed very easy. the only problem with the hood is that it is very flimsy. i dont want it to flex going down the road and crack again.

the question is:

A. Should i just attach the hood with the zeus fasteners or,

B. fix the crack and use the bottom half of my stock hood and bond the cowl hood to the bottom of my stock one? then take a mold of the cowl part and sell it to those that want a nice cowl hood.

if i go with B then i plan on gutting a huge hole in the bottom of the stock hood and using it as a frame for the cowl hood. then taking some fiberglass smooth out the underside of the 2 halves to make the hood look good and still finctional. then i hould have to figure out how to remove the hood as it won.t open because of the cowl.

oh and the cobra badges are leaving.

I say choice A because choice B is way too involved. LOL Hood pins should hold it down just fine.

why would i use hood pins when i have 4 zeus fasteners on each side. oh and hood pins are f-ing ugly to me. the only car that you will see me in that has hood pins is my myers manx sr2 and thats because they came stuck with pins.

thanks ja002gl, its my dd but i just want it to look mean for now. it will get mean later if i keep it that long.

i ordered some 17x10.5 wheels from americanmuscle.com and they were 2 different wheels. one had a et27 and one was an et28. they were also 2 different grey colors. i sent the light grey one back as the dark grey matched all my other wheels. they switched venders and now cant get the et27 anymore nor do they have any. now i have to go find one on ebay or something. here is a pic of the difference. look at the lip width its a major difference in the way the wheel looks.

oh and the mess in the background is my moms sewing stuff. its everywhere.

the one on the left is correct.
