If their anything like the 96-98 ,just jack the car up ,unplug the bulbs and remove the bolts that are holding the fog light brackets on. Installation is reverse.
Its a tight spot ,but easy to do if you take your time. I have all new OEM housing on my headlights and fogs. Makes the car look years younger.

i pulled the bulbs out first, just twist and pull. then to remove the light itself, there's a screw in the housing that you can get to from the front of the car. remove the screw and it should pop right out the back. getting the screw back in is a little trickier, but not a big deal...

Be sure not to touch the bulb with your fingers, it kills the life of the bulb. Are the fog light housings OEM or replicas? Are they a different model than your originals? If they are, the plastic fastener that holds the bulb IN the housing probably wont fit, too tired to bother with finding a new one I bound it in with electrical tape...Anyway check your compatibility.

no, the bracket that holds the foglight in place stayed bolted to the bumper. i couldn't see how to get it out, but the foglights i got from AM were just the lights, no bracket. so i didn't have to swap the brackets out, just the lights.

What year and model Mustang dude, that'll make it a lot easier...Cobra fog lights are different than GT.

Ok I see.
It must be different than than 96-98. I had to replace the whole OEM bracket and housing. But everything came together .
