Need some opinions on Professional Products

I am looking to get a 75mm TB and Plenum from Professional Products. Good idea or should I go with the 70mm? I don't want to do anything to hurt my performance now but I don't want to buy a 70mm setup now and then buy a 75mm setup later. Also what do you guys think about the PP Typhoon intake manifold? Good or bad? Again if I get it it is mainly to look nice I don't expect alot out of it I just don't want it to hurt me. Please let me know what you guys think.

It is my understanding that both are overkill for an N/A motor. Neither the TB or the intake will give you much. Look nice... that is a matter of opinion.

If you just want it to look nice than a 70/75 want hurt you. Any type of "performence mod" like you want to do isnt going to hurt you. That being that you just want more for looks just go with a chrome intake, tb and i guess that typhoon mainfold is chrome too. Youll pick up a few extra ponys but nothn much.

But will either of the mods hurt me? As long as I don't lose any power I don't mind spending 700 bucks to make my engine look nicer

Why do you say the PP manifold is crap? The price is great and I just can't see spending 1600 for the bullitt manifold swap

Oh ya it will look nice i got a chrome intake and a accufab tb and it looks really good but it kinda stands out sense there is nuthn else "shinny" under there!

Might want to pick up some chrome valve covers and under drive pulleys make a little bit better appereance.

I plan on KBing my stang down the road so I'm trying to do mods now that I don't have to replace later. Like I went with 3.73s instead of 4.10s cause 4.10s + KB = NO TRACTION

I have both their 75mm plenum and throttle body on a stock intake. I'm very happy with them. I would stay away from their typhoon intake because lots of people have had trouble with those. But their tb/plenums work great!

He's not asking about the typhoon intake. He's asking about the their plenum and throttle combo. Two different things.

you will lose power through bottom and mid range with the typhoon, unless you are full bolt on or more. they do come alive on the top end, i do have to give them that. if you are n/a, do not go off and get p&p work done on it. you will lose power n/a, the only way to make that up will be with boost. i run their t/b without any complaints, but have delt with the typhoon intake.

Get the 75mm

I am running the PP 75mm T/B and plenum and I love it. Why would you want to spend almost $500 on Accufab when you can get the PP T/B and plenum For $199?

There are absolutely no issues with my PP parts. Looks good, performs good and the fitment was perfect. The only way I would have Accufab is if someone gave it to me. It's just too expensive IMHO.
