i love my nitto nt555's. awesome tires, decent price, excellent grip. i can romp on the gas in first gear and it will hook with minimal spin, chirp into second and grab traction. my shitty falkens would spin all the way through first and second.

I bought the Michelin Pilot Sport. They wear pretty fast. I just put Toyo Proxes on front and have ordered a set for the rear.

Where are you from? Will you be driving in cold weather? Will you be driving on ice and snow? Are you going to have a separate set of summer and winter tires?

Most of the tires previously mentioned are summer performance tires with poor winter performance. I am personally familiar with Kumho tires and will not be driving on them this winter. They have excellent dry traction and no winter traction at all. My advice is to go to www.tirerack.com and research the tire before you buy. I have just ordered a set of Continental Extreme Contact all season tires. They are rated as having excellent traction in all weather conditions and superior dry traction.

Make sure you know what you a buying. I believe that tires are the primary reason so many Mustangs are wrecked in the winter.
