traction control and rear brake

so when u have the traction control turned on and u lose traction will the e-brake light come on along with the trac light???

On my car the light flashes when the T/C system activates. Perhaps the New Edge's are different, but on most vehicles a light of some sort flashes when the system is operating attempting to control wheel spin.

my dad had a charger and the ebrake never came on when t/c was engaged so i thought it was weird

Do you still have your owners manual? Read that, if not, scoot by a dealer and ask the service department dude. I have my T/C permanently overridden now, so I can't even go out to test mine to verify what all lights flash.

Yes, so does mine. But the brake light doesn't come on. Only the green wheel spin light.

well when it is on and i do the 1-2 shift the green wheel comes up but not the brake light, But when i come out of work there is a long uneven road i usually go WOT in 1rst and u can feel one of the tires always breaking lose when the road gets uneven and at that time i usually let offr and see the brake light on while the green wheel is on

I wonder if you have a bad switch or loose connection right at the ebrake. Maybe it's wiggling over that rough road and flashing the light. The brake light will also flash if your ABS is operating btw.

I'm not sure about the New Edge cars. It's standard on the S197's, and mine is a manual....I thought it was standard on the New Edge stuff, but I guess I was wrong. lol

I hear ya. Don't worry man, it's overrated. All it's good for is helping you in the rain and shit. It should be turned off anyway for launching....I have mine permanently disabled with my tuner. lol

yeah but it'd be nice to have the option to turn it off and then do burnouts everywhere instead of just doing them haha.
