i run a 160. And its an easy install, should be at the end of your radiator hose going into the block. Was easy on the KB intake not sure about yours..

160 will throw a code unless you get it tuned for it, not worth it in my opinion 180 works good.

from what i have heard, the 160 keeps the engine below optimal operating temps. everyone i talked to when doing this said to go with the 180

Yeah im tuned for the 160... and the kb is a heat soaking mofo! Need all the cooling i can get!
180 would be fine unless you did some serious modding... and wont throw a code |

the difference is the temp at which the thermostat opens. Dont get a 160, your car will run poorly, and even if it runs okay you will get worse gas mileage and power, because either the computer will revert to open loop and run rich, or at the very least your engine will not run efficiently at that temp. I've also read that with less than 180, the oil is not quite as warm and flowable and therefore the lower cylinder walls wear somewhat quicker. |

looks like i should switch it out then... but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if my engine broke
