4.6 DOHC question
are the engines in the cobras the same from 97-01?
i saw a 4.6l 32v from a 97 cobra for a couple grand and was curious

no..the heads on the 99+ are c heads and way better and a lil more horsepower..im going to be doing a 4v swap into mine also..so im looking for a 99+ lincoln with 4v motor cuz it will be cheaper and didnt come out a cobra...when it says cobra on it,the price doubles or triples..

ya the heads are different i believe the intakes are different. Just a little bit of difference between the 96-98 cobra motors and the 99.01 cobra motors
