window switch?


how do i know if my pass side window switch is bad, it will go up an down when controlling it from the drivers side,so i know its notthe motor,an just the other day i had my hand on it while i was in the pass side an it rolloed down but never worked since then,could it be bad.....any ideal

that would be the only thing i would think of if it still works from the driver side

pull the panel and use a test light.

I had the same problem. It was the switch. They are easy to change. If I remember correctly they're about $20 at Ford.

i had mine go out about a week ago and i pulled off the panel and messed around and it started working again.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago...first with the doorlock then the powerwindow..and also on my previous mustang.
Seems that the switch that is not used regulary goes bad first.
I was a bit tired of replacing the switch so i used electrical cleaner to clean it...and..it is working again...maybe you can try that before buying a new one....hope it works for you also

i used a test light an one of the wires have power, an every time i try to cross one over to see if the window will move it sparks
