Auto vs. Stick
I'm 16 years old and was recently forced to get rid of my 65 Chevy Impala SS. I could no longer afford to fully insure the ride, so it had to go. The only modern car that really catches my eye is the Mustang. I'm looking to get a 5 speed car but I found one 99 Gt for a really good deal, but it's automatic. Are auto's that much slower that i would want to steer clear of them? From what I've been told auto's are anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 second slower than stick. I'm used to a 2 speed powerglide being able to hold up with a 4 speed muncie. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry for being a idiot. Saw the post of the guy wanting to buy the 02 Gt. That pretty much answered all my questions.
