MAC has a lot of fitment issues. BBk was one and Chris can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was with the steering shaft or the dip stick tube. It's easily adjusted though. If you want something better go with SLP, Stainless works, or Bassani.

I have a 5 speed so im not sure if there are any big differences...But Here's what I know from the BBK LT's. The dipstick was annoying as hell. I bent it in so many wys to get it back. They are already made to fit the steering column, thats why theres a 'dent' in them, so thats no problem. Great price for a good quality product.

Oh yea, Get them ceramic coated, its worth keeping the heat out and plus they last longer.

Bought them but haven't installed them yet! Visually I could say that they could have done better welds to fill the pipe to flange seam but from the research I've done this is the only thing that is really bad about them.

In the book "Ford Horsepower on the Dyno" Hooker long-tubes are shown on the dyno graphs as giving a 38 HP gain over stock manifolds.

Thanks dude... I like the sound of mine, but I'm going to switch to MAC mufflers in the spring and get rid of my flowmasters, that will make it sound even better. Right now I've got the MAC LT's, MAC Prochamber, and flowmaster mufflers. You also have to take into effect that my engine is built up, especially with the cams I have, that makes a big sound difference.

Anyone that wants to slightly get a feel for what MAC LT's sound like.. watch the video in my sig.
