tire clearance


at the first of the year im gettin a set of deep dish rims for the back,but here in a week or so im getting a lowering kit.. ?is whats the max low i can go without the tires rubbing the fenders.an whats better coil overs or not

dude , just lower it , your not gonna have any problems , my car is slammed and im running 265s up front and 295s out back with no rub

265 295 have nothing to do with fender rub....those numbers are tire width in mm.

I've heard many people run a 315/45/17 with no problems on a 1.5" drop

If your reading tire size...the first numbers are mm width (example 315) second number is a proportion between width and rim size (example 45) third number is rim size

i have a 1.5 inch drop and running 315 bfg in the rear and plenty of room. no worries man
