what is maximum power for stock engine ?
Hey, guys...I just got 2003 GT w/54,000 miles, car came with following mods. What is the maximum hp that stock engine can handle? I saw crower supercharger stage 2 cams from one of a local shop website down here in Miami, thinking about putting it in..as well as upgrade coil over to MSD
1) Vortech v2 sq (stock pulley) 2) Intake : accufab w/bbk throttle body. 3) Anderson power pipe. 4) 42 lbs injectors 5) 3.73 gears 6) stock headers, magnaflow x pipe w/cats, slp loud mouth catback. 7) Aluminum drive shaft 8) sct chip from mustangtuning ( I think it changed to american muscle now ) 9) UPR upper/lower arms 10) Steeda spring I'd like to put cams that help more power w/o going into piston mod.. With the two mods above would be OK with stock engine ? THe car is daily driver. Thaks, Guy.. |

the cams might put you out of the safe hp range with stock internals.. i would definately do a forged bottom end before cams, it will give you much more potential.

the stock cam is more then enough to overpower the stock rods with most supercharger or turbo applications
