you can get a 302 forged stroker kit for about $1750 and then get a good supercharger, with that combo you can run as much power as you can throw at it. 600+

you can install a bb alum block(3.7 bore) stock stroke and have a 305ci. this setup could handle rpms better

yes but it will cost you a lot more too. you can get plenty of power out of the stock 4.6 stoke as it is, i would only do a stroker kit if i was building an N/A monster.

I like Procharger, but you can't safely get to 500 rwhp without buying forged rods and pistons. The stock rods and pistons are only good up to 420-450 rwhp. The stock crank is good to 650.

So bottom line, stroker kit with forged rods and pistons and he wants a keen bell supercharger. I drive a eclipse and I know for our cars (DSM'S) you need a kit when your getting out of the stock turbo or out of the N/A (supporting mods) is there anything else needed right now? he has a K&N filter Cat-back flowmasters and ECU. Thanks.

If he just did the supercharger on the engine now would it really matter as opposed to doing the swap?

he can just put a supercharger on it and call it a day. the kenne bell kit comes with everything you need for a complete install, even the tune. but he will be limited to 9 psi with that supercharger on stock engine internals. if he did a forged kit, or forged stroker kit, he will be able to turn up the boost as high as he wants. he will need to beef up his transmission and rear end if he goes with higher boost levels
