Billit Oil Pimps vrs GT and Cobra Oil Pumps

Oil Pumps,
I am putting together a 4.6 that will be supercharged with a Nitrous shot. My question is if the Sean Hyland Motorsport Billet oil pump is required compared to the Cobra oil pump. I have busted some shafts on other engines but have never heard of the Cobra or GT oil pump going south. I plan to drive the car on the street but mostly drag race the car. Planning on between 600 and 750 rwhp Any comments would be appreciated. WAR-PARTY

Yes you need an oil pump with hardened or billit gears. Go to MMR and get one of their blueprinted pumps with hardened gears. You will bust the gears in a stock pump.
