Engine Knocking
Well since I put my new tune on for 89 octane. Well under light acceleration my engine sometimes knock. And sometimes at idle my idle fluctuates a little more than I think it should giving me a little bit of a rough idle. Almost like my engine is kinda starving myself. since it only happened after I got my tuner, and when I put the stock tune back on it goes away. What can I do to adjust my tune to get rid of the knocking?

take it to DTP and have them tune it

Lol I plan on doing that, but I was hoping for a cheaper fix until then.

i would just keep running the 87 octane tune to be safe until then. i don't know enough about tuning to really advise you, that's why i said take it to DTP. knowing the reputation Frank and Brent have over there, they'll probably get the car to make more power than before.

try running 93 and see if its still there..

what i did was first reinstall the tune. if its still there im gonna run a tank of 93 when im empty, fill up with 93 again and then try the 93 perf tune.
