Stronger Tensioner?

K my tensioner pulley is being yanked/pulled on by the kenne bell and it rubs against the another pulley... are there stronger tensioners out there or stronger spings for it? i had one pull itself out of the timing cover before.

Running 8 rib pulleys with ~16 psi.

Would longer belts help? they said they put on a smaller one and it helped... But would make sense a longer one would not put as much tension on it...

dunno man i dont run anything similar. but i was thinking you may have one on too short. therefore overloading your tensioner. maybe your tensioner is just wore out.

Id be goin more with the tensioner is worn or needs a stiffer spring of somesort in it to compensate for the smaller belt. A larger belt would cause more slipping of the belt, and we all know thats bad.

Check around for stronger springs in your tensioner or see if possibly you can find a place that can make one.
