Mach1 vs SS


just wandering who would win, my mach has flowmaster 40s on it thats it, vs a stock SS or one with SLP loudmouth catback, if both people where at the same driving level, who would win

I have an 01 cobra with an intake exhaust and i barley beat my friends 01 SS. he just had intake and exhaust to. if u dont get the jump you will lose and i raced him a couple of times.

the ls car will have the edge, but it would be a good drivers race.

+1 but I'm a little biased since I will be buying a Mach soon. So I say Mach... even though it really is driver's race

01 have the same rating. in 01 the ls1 recieved the ls6 intake manifold.

Mach will launch harder, SS will pull in the top end

as far as ive heard, the machs are weaker in the launch, thats the main place you have to take care of to get a majorly faster time, we'll see if i race one at the track this friday thu, ill update yall

The smaller engine of the mach will allow it to rev faster and that will give a teeny tiny advantage at the start line, after that the SS is going to pull ahead. Anything from a roll and the larger cheby engine will just out breath our 281's.

as far as i thought the SS ran around a 13.4 and can be roughly driven to around 13.1 from what ive seen around the track, and ive seen stock machs run 12.8-12.9, i thought the mach would win but i thought id ask
