muffs

well, if your budget is a little more open you can buy some stingers, but they wont directly bolt up to your current pipes you'd have to buy the whole catback which is about 750-800$ but its a nasty nasty sound, you could just buy the mufflers for 140 a peice and get piping and weld them in place where you need it, just not from autozone its not manderal bent, but if your budget isnt that much, just buy some flowmaster 40s or super 44s they always sound nasty, check out bassani to, a good way to decide what you want is youtube.com the videos dont sound exactly like what the exhaust actually sounds like but it gives you a good idea

u can easily get a mean sound from the small ford v8's with flowmaster mufflers. those are my favorites. so of course i would recommend flowmaster performance mufflers.

What x or h pipe do you have. I really mean set up is bassani o/r x with 2 chamber flows.

Ya im a big flowmaster fan. Especially when matched up with the right mid pipe. In your case, i would go with an o/r x.

a prochamber, or H pipe with chambered mufflers is going to cause it to drone. ive been in several cars with the combo, and they are miserable to drive, head just cant take it.

i have found though with flows (while i dont care for them) a X pipe will not cause a drone. but it will make it more raspy, and a O/R X, and flows are going to be pretty loud aswell.

check out UPR X pipes though. i beleave they make a great midpipe, and they are pretty affordable too. the design of the X also makes it sound different from that of a bassani X, or magnaflow.

may want to go with cats though, to try and keep the noise level down.

i like the way the x-pipe sounds. i put mac long tubes, bassani x-pipe and steeda muffler & tails. it sounds mean going down the road.

So many choices....good luck man!
All depends on your personal preference and how much you want to spend.

If you want loud and cheap get SLP.

Yeah! Me too! What I like most is that I can cruise by Johnny Law and just keep my foot out of it and he doesn't give me a second look but once I'm out of earshot! BUHAHAHAHA!

MAC(The company that made the headers and midpipe) is having a special right now through FastToys. Tell them that you are a member of mustangforums.com and they'll give you a discount!

Mustang Forums

I got my Ceramic coated Long tubes and Prochambers for less than $600 on their last promotion!

If you want the car to be louder than I would go with a single chamber muffler versus the double that I have!

John
