yes, lower the psi at the track, and just use good judgment with the burnout.. get the tires smoking a little bit

on street tires especially radials you dont need to do a big burnout. what your really aiming to do is clean them off. and yes they hook well. drgn posted up some pics of his car launching in the media section under buick vs ford

Get some slicks! And what times do you run? Have you ever run at the track?

on the nitto drag radials, at least brakestand it for 10 seconds, and then let off the brake and let it grip out of the box, to get the water off of them before you stage.

+1, or even do another small burnout outside of the waterbox

well you will have to see if those nittos hook, cuz if they hook like drgns did( he lauches at 6000 rpm with a dump of the clutch) then you will be fine, but if not you will just spin.

you have to heat the piss out of the nittos to make them hook. and drop the psi down to 15-18 they will hook but seriously those tires need to be hot

I ran constant 1.7 - 1.8 60's with 245 wide 555r's... ran the pressure around 16# and you gotta do a big burnout (stay out of the water though since you have tread).

i run through the water, spin em a tad come out of the box, and do a 2nd gear burnout for a long time. let them get really hot, i then let off the brake and let it roll out. i also run 12-13 psi in them and launch off the 2 step at 6500. ive cut 1.61 on a 315 555r and 12.0s
