Rough Estimate In RWHP & 1/4 Mile Time
Hi all,
Once again I'm just looking for some opinions from the real experts!! So I've decided to keep my 01' GT and purchase a KB 2.1L supercharger for a spring installation. Now I've read up on numbers and know that the only way I'll know for sure what I'm running is to dyno my own vehicle. Too be honest, I'm pretty excited and cannot wait till late April but in the meantime I was wondering if you could give me an idea, from those who have either driven in or owned one, on what my RWHP @ 9psi would be on my 01' GT. My engine is completely stock and my only mods are Flow's and Eichbach's. I will have new upper and lower Trailer arms installed + only the upgrades that come with the KB kit and a good tune but would also appreciate any other advice as well. Straight up, this is my first stang and I have never experienced a s/c vehicle that could move half decent but I've been told that I will not be let down. After I get adjusted to it I may take it down to the track for a few passes and I'm hoping high 12's are possible but if not I don't think I'll be disappointed. Once again, thanks for the responses and please do let me know of any enhancements you can think of. MacGill

at 9psi.. about 400rwhp your 1/4 time would depend on a bunch of things.

I ran 11.92 on Nitto drag radials and 412 rwhp. 11.47 with slicks. So yea, low 12's is very realistic.

Wow..that's better then I thought... I would have been happy with 350-360rwhp.
Thanks

when I checked into it,most people where running in the 380rwhp area on 9 psi.yes some were at 400 or a little above, but they had more bolt-on's and /or a custom tune
