H/E Single vs. Dual

Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm about to order a little bigger H/E and have the option of a single or dual pass unit.
I understand the difference in the flow design, but am wondering if the dual will cool better? Is there any hard data to substantiate this?
(I did a search, but couldn't find anything on this).

Thanks, I'll try it over there.
It just seems odd to me that many (quite a few) aftermarket H/Es have been installed but no one seems to know why they are installing one type over the other.
I mean, if I'm going to install a replacement part on my car, I want to know why one product is better/different than another. We all do it with other items (e.g. blowers), how come not the intercooler?
Just wondering.

dual core will cool better... it does with radiators anyways. I have a different blower than you so no idea. Mine is water based, and used the one kb gave me (works great)!

Thanks Everyone, I think I'll be going with a single. It's a tough decision. The Dual seems more popular, is it only because of the marketing hype from AFCO when they first cameout with them? Don't know.
So far, no one could tell me why the dual is better FOR OUR APPLICATION.
The following pertains only to installation of an aftermarket H/E (intercooler) for the SC on an 03-04 Cobra.

My research so far has lead me to believe that for our application a single pass H/E would be the best and most practical for these reasons:

1. Same (or very little, if any) difference in efficiency. This is due to the size of radiator, # of tubes, # of fins per inch, and depth of radiator. Stratification will not occur.
2. Retain the hard crossover tube, instead of replacing with another soft hose.
3. An additional bend to the inlet with dual.
4. Difficult (maybe impossible) to install brake cooling ducts later with dual due to hose routing.
5. Will the higher resistance to flow in a dual affect the pump?
6. Turbulence due to increased velocity going through the dual-good or bad? for actual heat exchange? (Delta T of coolant).

If you have anything to add- pro or con - I'm all ears.
TIA.
