Oil leak?

Okay.. first off, I need to say that need to change my oil this weekend and that I have a small crack in the passenger side valve cover where you can see where oil slowly runs out.. anyway.. today I got off my day job early and stopped by a few exhaust shops and the first I went to was Meineke.. well when he put the car up on the lift, I noticed what seemed to be a drop of oil on.. not sure what it's called.. between the driveshaft and transmission.. well I was wondering if this is something that I should be worried about or if it's normal, etc, etc.. I included a picture for reference.
