udp reduce rotating mass off the crank. a smaller crank pulley is easier to turn and the other pulleys are larger to make up for the differnce. the steeda pulleys say up to 12hp. i noticed a differnce with mine and they dont create any driving problems at all.

I saw absolutely no gains with the UDs at the track. all it did was make my lights dim while sitting at a light. In my opinion if its a DD they aren't worth it.

They worked fine on mine...
You notice alittle bit but not really anything extreme...I put them on at the same time with the x-pipe so I really dont know what they added by themselves... I never had issues with my lights dimming... |

the fox cars had charging problems with udp. on the modular cars with the bigger alternator, they dont have charging or power steering problems.

I have Steeda UDP, I felt no difference, and I also have an 2001 GT with NO problems at all, lights and mach 460 stereo are all powered just as good.

If you are talking to me, yea Its my DD, and the mileage i guess isn't THAT bad in comparison to stock. It still gets 25-27 on the highway at 2500 rpm @ 70 mph. City driving isn't very good at all though. I don't know what a stock stang gets since I haven't owned a stock geared stang, this is my first one, and it already had gears in it, but I'm getting about 15 mpg around town, lots of stops and gos. I like em though. I deal with it.
