Aluminum D/S (driveshaft)

so i understand that these D/S need zero balance. therefore making it an easy bolt on. right? But is the setup different than on a manual? what should i purchase besides the d/s to make this install easy and effective on my automatic? gt and mach share the same driveshaft right?

just buy the drive shaft for a manual and use your automatics yolk.

it's a good mod and a direct bolt on.

yeah but you may still want to have it checked for balance. cuz if its out just a little bit, it can cause a whole lotta problems

It's a piece of steel in a U shape which typically bolts to the under carriage of the car, and surrounds the drive shaft. In the event of a U joint failure, the loop keeps the drive shaft from going completely haywire and possible causing you to lose control.

The saftey loop with add a little more stiffness to the chassis as well.
