Mid-Pipe


i have a 04 mach 1 and we have emissions here so if i hollow out my cats will it have the same effect as a o/r pipe and will it make my car louder and whats the best way to do this

Well if you have emissions and you hollow the cats, you will still fail. You can do one of two things, buy an O/R pipe and swap it back to the stock when you need to go to emissions, or you can buy a midpipe with highflow cats.

upr? theyre pretty cheap. i dont know how much the catted one is but the off road is 150. thats cheaper than most

He might pass as long as it's just a visual inspection and no sniffer.

Ive heard of people passing even with an O/R h pipe on. I think some cars burn cleaner than others.
