Fuel Injectors...

I recently upgraded to from a 98 GT to an 04 GT and the car seems to be guzzling gas more my 98 with 4.10 gears. How can I tell what size injectors are in my car?

Stock is 19#, injector size doesn't really make a difference though as the car is only gonna use as much as it needs. They're usually id'd by color:

Yellow: 19lb Injectors
Blue: 24lb Injectors
Red: 30lb Injectors
Green: 42lb Injectors

Are the most common ones.

I've heard of folks claim Ford switched to 21 lb pink injectors on Mustangs near the end of 2002 and on many 2003 - 2004 Mustangs as well. They're (by the numbers) supposably 21.5 lb and it's rumored to be because of the increased in size (85mm) mass air meter. I don't think they're 21's personally, Ford normally rates their injectors at 39psi (I think) which is less than the industry standard (maybe 41 or 42psi) so they're a discrepancy as to what they'd flow with more pressure and I think that's how those pink injectors were rated. Maybe they were outsourced from a different company (not Bosche). I dunno just speculating.
