Catback vs. Catless vs. No Cats. What Does This Mean?

I want to throw on a Mac exhaust but i don't know a thing about exhausts. So i really like the sound of the Mac. Now whats all this Catback or catless or no cats mean?

Alot of people on You Tube say they have a Mac Exhausts with a Prochamber. Does the Prochamber get rid of the Cats? From what i understand the Cats are right after the headers?

Thanks. Please help me out here.

cats are catalytic converters. you gotta have them if your state is an emission controlled state. they sell midpipes in two varieties. catted and catless or off road. the prochamber comes either way.
