Short Throw Shifters

i have a 2000 gt i am looking to put on a b&m short throw kit.
what is everyones opinion on the short throw i know it reduces the distance between gears but is it any real upgrade or is it any better than the custom stick that comes in them

thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

but is it worth it to change to a short throw, i don't race that often but have alway heard it improves your speed in shifting and you don't miss gears

I thought Pro 5.0 was the best until i wrapped my hand around a MGW Shifter.

Its got its advantages over the Pro 5.0 with the adjustable-ness but i would say there two of the best shifter made.
