Whats Next?
i have an 02 gt with most bolt ons now. i dont know if i want to save money and get a 4 valve. 4.10s and suspension work would be next i think but after that i would be pretty much done except for motor work or a power adder. i dont know if its worth it to keep modding the gt cause i wont get the money back once i decide to sell it one day. what do u guys think?

buy some MSD coils for that pig man what a difference keep modding it...the way i see it is leave the motor stock get everything you can out of it with bolt ons and a tune and nitrous if u wanna go the extra step....do the 373 gears i head 410 is a bit too much if your gonna put nitrous or s/c

i say you dont spend anymore on your "pig". Maybe save up and buy a cobra or a mach. the new stangs can be nice after being fixed.

High compression and aluminum block means no go, keep that GT and fix it up, your block is iron, good up to 1500hp. With forged work done to the pistons, rods and crank and forced induction, you can easily see past 500rwhp. And you'll still spend less than you would on a Cobra.

You can always sell mods. I been thinking the same thing but think about this, If your GT comes up to a cobra and beats it, its more impressive than if you had a 4v and beat another 4v ya know?

If you want to keep the same car, I would suggest gears which I think you should have done earlier. I like 4:10s, but some people like 3.73, it's personal opinion really.

do the gears and suspension and then after that which is a pretty good project just focus on beefing up your motor

yeah if i had to do over again i wouldve gotten gears sooner but i got a good deal on some parts and they were available at the time. ive seen people supercharge mach's.. does it take a lot of work because of the high compression? how much power can those blocks hold?

the aluminum block can hold more power than you can make in a legitimate street car.
i say the 4v conversion would be worth it in a financial standpoint.... you could sell your gt now and take the 4v money and be close if not over the price of a 4v car. but some people have done it just so they can say they did it. imo you might as well give up modding cars if your worried about losing your money.... no matter what kind of car you go youll always lose the money you got in it. things depreciate. build it the way you want. when its time to move on do it and cut your losses.

Do the gears and suspension. Keep the mods going. I plan to build up my 2v with forged internals and SC, in that order.

Or you could always drop a new motor in it with forged internals.

Yeah, buy some coil packs and waste your money. What a douche.
