My heads have done good so far aside from a plug in the back of one of the heads being loose letting oil get by. I just tightened it up and I've been running a blower and nitrous on it.

Thats a little uncalled for...watch how you come at people...please...

It's his car...he'll do with it what he wants..

As for Boss330 racing...Papito knows his Stuff.. I havent heard any bad stories from Boss330 or MPH..As for heads, i havent met snyone with MPH heads but i have met a guy with some Fox Lake heads...They're pretty good heads as well from what I've heard. Remember that the valvetrain is a very important part of the car and it's performance..Dont let just anyone lay their fingers on it. Very fragile it is...

Manley rods, Diamond pistons, VT cams, P-1 @ 11 lbs and a 75 shot. This is with 9.5 compression. Those numbers are with the 75 shot.

They were 1000 dollars cheaper than those from modular powerhouse. They are ported with the same cnc machine that the rest use. So, just how could these other heads be so much better? My intake and exhaust ports are ported to match the gaskets. If they were any bigger they would blow the gaskets. The heads I bought from patriot were in great shape whether you want to believe it or not.

i dont see anything wrong with patriots stuff anymore. i know a good amount of people running them no problems. its true with more money you are going to get a better head, but for the money they are good.

Regardless of what some believe there is more to head porting than gasket matching. Also the use of a CNC machine is great however you would see a huge difference in the programs used from one porter than the other. Patriot heads also use a lesser quality of parts than modular powerhouse.

I'm sorry if I came off wrong about Patriot. I just don't understand why people would want to risk their engine on a set of junk heads. Just remember they are way cheaper for a reason ask yourself why.

I have used Patriot heads in the past on a few customers cars. No problems and great power. I think they are good for the money saved but people always have bad things to say about them. If you look at the # of heads produced and sold, they really arent that bad. They probably sell more sets of heads a year than any other company. I am not knocking the other guys, but im just saying that the patriots are good heads. If the other companys sold as many sets a year as patriot you would probably hear just as many bad things about them. Just my opinion

You talk about flow numbers on the patriot heads here. I did a little research. Modular powerhouse do use heads from Steen Racing. Check out the numbers.Steen Racing Website and the patriots 4.6/5.4 2V Heads&Valvetrain

You are spouting off about heads you don't have a clue on. MPH has someone local to them do their heads. I have seen patriot heads on the bench, the numbers are not near what they claim. I spoke to Gunnar from patriot a while back he had no clue anything about the heads (numbers) other than their "max" cfm. I assure you the same motor with the two different heads would show you the difference.

You are going to believe what you read, or what you are led to believe from others. I do this shit daily, I was being nice and trying to save a few people from making mistakes as others have.

All well !!!!
