Dyno results 2004 Supercharged Saleen with mods

Well, got back from the dyno and I'm VERY happy with the results!!!

When the car was on the dyno last it put down 306 rwhp / 340 rwtq. Today I put down 361 rwhp / 392 rwtq. With the stock pulley we previously saw 9.5 lbs of boost. Today I was able to see a little over 12 lbs of boost with the Chicane 2.97" pulley.

What I changed from my last dyno session...
- 03/04 Cobra dual fuel pumps and baffled tank over stock GT tank and pump
- FRPP 42 lb injectors over Saleen 30 lb injectors
- Chicane 2.97" Pulley over stock 3.125" Pulley
- SCT Xcal2 tuned over stock Saleen PowerFlash tune

Two things...the Cobra fuel pump is awesome as I had no fuel delivery issues whatsoever. Bad news is I pegged the stock meter (we saw 5 volts at about 5800-5900 rpm). Also, my inlet air temperature was high (over 130 degrees).

So, overall I'm happy. Down the road I'll be swapping in an SCT Big Air MAF, Magnaflow X-Pipe, and 3.73 gears.

Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner for the dyno graph, but here are a couple pics from the dyno session. My car did great today, my truck not so hot. It only put down 388 rwhp / 402 rwtq (2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bee). I was hoping for mid 400 numbers but I've got lean A/F issues up top that precluded us from making full pull runs.

I've got more pics of my car on my CarDomain page located here...

Gorgeous car. I noticed you live in VA beach. Where did you get your dyno done? I'm looking for a dyno that is relatively close by that I can go to for when I get my gt.

I actually got mine done in Chesapeake by DTP Racing. I'll get their address and number and post it up. They've moved recently.

Brent and Frank are both great guys. Brent knows how to tune and did both my car and truck several times with excellent results!

Not sure where you're coming from on I-64...but take the Greenbrier Pkwy North Exit. The first stop light is Woodlake Drive (make a right). It becomes Greenbrier Circle. Look on the left for Building Set 820. There are two entrances...go to the second entrance. Look for DTP Racing on the window. They are Suite Number 15. Brent will have his huge red Dodge Ram dually, some Vettes, and Mustangs parked in front.

I work off on greenbrier parkway. I don't need to take the interstate. Thank you so much though. That place isn't far at all. If traffic isn't bad I can get there in 15-20 minutes.

Three pulls and A/F readings plus a dyno graph printout comes to $75. That is pretty much the standard cost wherever you go. Some shops charge less. If you get a group of guys to go for a dyno day it can usually get a lot cheaper.

Good to see another Series IV supercharger hitting decent numbers. I'm sure the car still has more in it. You might want to look into headers and mid pipe if you haven't done so already. Also, I'd recommend a colder thermostat since, with my car, a little heat related pinging developed over time. It's not a bad idea to try a colder spark plug either.

Thanks, I'll try some NGK TR6's gapped at 0.35, and a 180 Degree thermostat.

I'm already looking into an X-pipe...possibly some long tubes.

The plugs will workgreat, as well the thermostat.
It would not be a bad idea to get a Lightning MAF either.
The X-pipe sounds good if it's not raspy (almost sounds like an exotic on highways).
I'm putting a thermostat in my car tonight or tomarrow. It looks like it's really easy to do, just two bolts. I got an SLP thermostat from LM performance. It's a good idea to makesure your fans turn on a little sooner, especially since the water flows sooner (this can be adjusted with the tuning software).
I noticed a significant improvement with a 75mm Throttle body. The Supercharger Inlet looks as if it was almost made for that size. I put it on in a parking lot with some basic tools in about a half hour. Piece of cake. I got an accufab.
Chicane either does or will offer an intercooler upgrade. You could always get your intake manifold ported by extrude hone (the intake manifold is generally considered the main factor keeping the saleen supercharger from hitting kenne bell numbers). Also, I've heard good things came from switching the front heat exchanger (for intercooler) with the one from Lightning Performance. Finally, I actually heard someone got some marginal power with a radiator upgrade on these cars. I can only assume that this is because heat is an issue with these blowers under boost.
I noticed you got the center exhaust. Any other upgrades?

fallstar...mods are listed in my CarDomain page or my SaleenPower garage.

Here are the links...

My SaleenPower Garage

My CarDomain Page

I've already got the Accufab 75mm throttle body...had issues at first with high idle, but I've since had that fixed. Great mod as you state!

Thanks for the insight on the other mods...I'll check them out!

I'm pretty close to you as far as mods are concerned but i'm at 381rwhp and 384 torque. I'm guessing it's the X-pipe that adds power but lowers torque.
