in that case, just go with a nice set of non-adjustable Tokico's...
they're really good dampers and they won't break the piggy bank, either...

Adjustable shocks were originally designed for road racing. The shocks could be adjusted for different tracks. Koni's were the first to build an adjustable shock and they originally only built shocks for the road racer. Additionally these shocks were juice shocks before the advent of gas filled shocks. I'm don't have much drag racing experience, but stiff shocks in the front and soft shocks in the rear seems wrong to me?

think about what your car does when it launches

squats the rear and picks up the front.

with softer shocks in the rear youll sqaut easier and with the hard in the front theres less resistance for the front to pick up... i'e. tires dont fall as fast.

weight transfer. softening the rears will help the rear tie the power to the ground. people move batteries to the rear, set n2o tanks is specific locations, remove front sway bar, etc. all that just to get the ass to the ground. like for me, my car wont transfer hard enough and i have traction issues with slicks. the rebound is stiff and the preload is too much. by adjusting it, i will allow for the car to shift the weight and keep the weight to the back.

you can get them through an auto parts store, but you will pay a lot for them. getting them off the net or a performance mag will save you a lot.
