M.T. vs Nitto vs etc

From you guys' experience... What are the best drag radials? I have nitto nt555r's 315/35/17s and they do me good but i was just wondering if there was better. Also.... has anyone ever tried the nitto nt01s?

MT hook very well.
Better than nitto's imo.

MT's will walk all over pretty much any other DR out there (my opinion, dont kill me ppl)... Nitto's will most def last longer though, and you still get pretty damn good trac by what i've heard.

My dad has BFG Gforce DR's on his 99 kenny brown and they're pretty damn good.

Wear from longest to shortest Nittos > MT > BFG

Performance MT> BFG > Nittos

Remember ppl, this is my personal opinion... so dont get on me lol

ummm depends on the burnouts in the box really... if its a DD and a track car then 5k sounds about right... but for just a track car, maybe a season or two.

How about a DD no track or burnouts at all, just tired of spinning tires when taking off

probably a good 8-9k maybe 10k.. they're just so soft and wear 2x faster than a traditional ultra high performance summer tire.

My opinion is the M/T's can't be touched by much, other than some M&R racemasters, and I think Hoosier makes a good dr... Never ran any other than M/T and I probably won't ever. I love mine. My first set was some 275's and those gave me my best time so far. Since I got the rearend rebuilt and larger rims I run 315 M/T's everyday. I drive the car every where, but I really don't worry about how many miles I can get out of them. The first set I went to the track about 5 times a month for 3-4 months. Those lasted me just under 8k. These I have now have only seen the track once, I've been busy, but they look brand new, and have something like 3k on them now.

Haha Thanks. I try and stick with the well known products. I run BFG Gforce KDW 2's for tires though... they're a pretty badass street tire, but awful for draging. This spring, i'll be adding some MT et Streets to the Weld Racing 15x10 rims i'm hopefully recieving for christmas lol.

I picked up a full second going to a MT DR from a regular street radial after some practice.

I'm running MT DRs and i love them, they grip hard even with stock suspension. I'm sure i'll snap an axle soon enough. I just need a great excuse for the 31 spline upgrade!!

I am thinking about the MT drag radials for the spring... My Summotos are close to the end... The fronts are fine. Will it be ok with the Summotos on the front and the MT's on the rear... 315/35-17 MT's
