power adder on a high mileage 4.6

hey, I was wondering would a supercharger running at 8psi on a weekend only 75kmile 2000 gt , be asking for trouble? I don't plan on ever taking it to the track. It just would be nice to know that i'm not the slowest on the street though.

I think the stock is 8-10...But I am not 100% sure...

On a high mileage car i would stay away from root or twinscrew superchargers...

I am just saying that I have seen my fair share of mid mileage 4.6's blow the bottom end out with a kenne bell with a stock pulley on it...I am not a fan of roots or twin screw...that is just me...
