As some of you know my Stang will be a drag car only trailered. So here is my question. EGR valve keep or delete? Motor has a KB 2.6 and NO2

Delete that shit. It will only send hot air back up there and kill performance.

I deleted mine not too long ago and I noticed a more prolonged performance during hotter temperatures.

So the EGR valve is different on the modular motors? They usually don't open at WOT, so it won't really hurt performance at the track. Will it? Also, if you unplug it and get a cel, it automatically stays shut. Or, I could be wrong. Thats the way it works on Foxes, anyway. Is it the same for these cars?

Deleting will not give you more performance unless you are racing at cruising speed. It cuts down on emissions at cruise speed and helps save a little money on gas.http://http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/egr.htm
