Suspension

so i was looking at the Edelbrock suspension package on jegs, it comes with the Performer IAS shock, there springs, and upper and lower traling arms, just wandering what everyone thinks, im not buying it for a little bit, just wanted some input, if you dont think its such a good idea, id appreciate tips on what suspension to get, and all components, im also gonna buy some better subframe connectors to, so if you could reccomend some of them to, i have a 03 mach 1 by the way

the sub frames will handle a lot, they arent all that bad. i have bbk and was able to notice a nice difference in the turns. the edelbrock stuff is pretty nice. the control arms are still a box type, not a tubular type. they are good, but the tubular are suppose to be a stronger. the shocks and struts are pretty good, and if just DD and a little abuse they would be well worth the money.

If you're just going to DD it then I guess that is fine but I like Maximum Motorsports parts myself. They are made for racing which is what I want to do with my '03 GT.

Mach's have Tokico shocks/struts. You don't have to upgrade those unless you really want to.

Then if you're serious about road racing your car the first mod should be you!

You need to run your car stock for a while and see what you like and don't like about your car. You need to go to as many HPDE classes as you can. Once you feel you can compete in the Indy 500 you are ready to start learning how to race. Join one of the driving associations like SCCA or NASA and start racing in their starter clubs!
Once you are at that level then you should begin to start modding your car!

BTW if you are really serious about racing you can't have a race/drag car. It has to be one of the other!
