Impreza WRX Non-STI

so what's the deal with these cars? good match for our gt's?

i raced one in my 300zx and got my ass handed to me, and he then proceeded to get his ass handed to him by TT300zx...

i know the sti's are out of our league, but does anyone have any knowledge on how responsive these non-sti cars are to mods? i see them a lot and always wonder what my chances would be in a 1/4 mile, since our strip closed down, i turn to the great minds of mm...

I've roasted my share of WRX's. The big problem with them is their launch.

AWD+4 banger turbo=lots of bog

As long as you're a good driver and the WRX is stock, you should win.

cool, cool, do you know if mods help them out a lot? i figure they would since turbo cars seem to respond better than n/a cars

I've heard mixed opinions on weather or not they respond well, but they can bolt on a new turbo and BOV, and they would look and sound stock, but would be 40-50+ HP over stock

You can probably take them. I've raced slightly modded ones are the track and beat them.

if they put the STi Turbo in it will give them more power. a BOV does nothing for power

i forgot what the versions of them are but its something that starts with a c i believe , they can look and sound stock but be pretty nasty..

yeah, the new imprezas look like crap, but previous body style was sexy as faack...

just sucks that our little track closed, gotta find a wrx who would want to take a trip out to Arroyo Seco Raceway with a bunch of v8's lol...

if its a stock turbo and lightly modded youll get him, but i raced a stock motoroed but fp20green turbo and some other mods and he ran away from me
