Stainless Works Mid Pipe Poll
The prototype they are creating on my car will have an X pipe but Stainless Works would like to know what you would prefer! Please post up opinions/thoughts.
X pipe or H Pipe?

Depends on the muffler mostly, with a chambered muffler (like Flowmaster, Mac) stick with an H-pipe. If you've got a straight through muffler (Like Magnaflow, Magnapacks, etc.) then go with an X-pipe.
Theirs really not alot of difference, most people will tell you an X-pipe will move the powerband up alittle (showing a tad more horsepower) and be louder, but the H-pipe will sound deeper and give you more power down low. Either way the power difference is minimal at best. |
