Bleed your mastercylinder. There are 2 bleeder screws at the master, one for the front and one for the rear. Just bleed them both and you will fix your problem. Hope this helps.

is your abs light on? the locking up sounds like a problem i've experienced with fords when the abs system has a failure in it. for the no rear brakes, i'd try bleeding the master cylinder, if it doesnt work your most likely gonna have to replace it. if thats the problem it will cause the problem with locking. good luck man.

I just changed all my brakes and I am having the same problem. The pedal goes straight to the floor and no fluid or air comes out of the bleeder valves when I pump the brakes like there is no pressure.

the rear brakes calipers have to have the pistons turned in to seat flush unlike regular calipers that are just pushed in with a brake tool/c clamp

In the Haynes manual it says that you can't bleed them at home if air gets in the HCU and that you need an expensive tool. Is this true?

ok theres one easy way to prevent this especially if you are going to bleed the brakes anyways. i've found this only really works well on fords since there the only ones that have that problem alot, open the bleeder valve on the caliper when you compress the piston, than bleed the brakes like normal. sometimes with fords when you push in the piston without doing this, the inner seals of the master cylinder will be damaged and you will destroy it.
