Rear End Question


I PLan on putting 4.10 or 4.30 In my 2000 gt If i get this what else will i need? WHen it comes to getting a whole new rear end thats strong? thanks guys

MOTIVE GEAR Part # F88BI {Open Differential Internal Kit; Incl. Side And Pinion Gears/Washers/Pinion Shaft And Lock Bolt Or Roll Pin; 8.8 in.; 31 Spline; Large Pin;}
Rear 8.8 in. (10 Bolt), thats from a 2000 mustang cobra

Umm my plan is to get like 450, but that part is pretty cheap it was like 120.00

if you can weld you can brace it yourself. one of the main problems with the rear end is the tubes turning, cracking and etc. cut em , notch the housing, and re weld them will help.
add bracing. rear end girdle. 31 spline axles and diff., c-clip eliminators.

where do u notch them just wondering i haven't looked in to this before

450 is not that big of a deal. a set of good axles will be about the only thing that would be needed to run that without problems. a better diff wouldnt hurt, but not neccessary. 450 wont hurt the tubes, but then again it wont hurt to go have them welded up. you can go to a 31 spline set up if you wanted that much more reassurance. i did a 31 spline t-lok out of an exploder, and a set of alloy axles. they are flawless.
