this problem i found after some searching is part of a tsb
the part # for the kit is 3R3Z-7124-AC .....does anyone know the cost? I'm in kuwait and finding parts for a manual tranny is difficult as hell. I don't mind ordering it

syncors a possibility, but it could also be a fork. i have had just about every problem you can think of on transmissions. when i had this issue (for me), it was a fork.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

mine did the same thing about a month after I bought it. Thank god I still had a warranty. I just took it to the stealership and they replaced the syncros. All fixed up now...
