Portable Electric Heater

mine smells like cherries and there is nothing in my car lol very weird. Maybe you should get one of those portable electric heaters and plug it into the cigarette lighter!

well kind of. they could be seaping just a little bit and make things smell bad or they could leak all over oyur floor or through the engine compartment how the older fords did. but its really bad either way, jsust not a severe i meant.

This might be a necropost, but if the heater on your car isn't used for a while dust builds up inside your vents or something. When you turn on the heater, the flame for heat deep inside burns the dust and therefore makes that smell. Thats why your house smells bad when you turn on your heater after a long time.

Flame burning dust to heat your car?!? Last time I checked, the heater core used the heat from your coolant when your engine warms.

I love your mach 1 bro....

My first oil change on my 06 I saw one with torch red...for the same price i bought my v6...I kinda was second guessing my purchase. But I love my car...I'll get a v8 when I turn 25 and insurance goes way down.

***EDIT****

But then gas will be $5 per gallon, or will I?!?

sorry no flame in this type of heater...that would cause major problems not to mention what would be burning? the heater core is basically a small radiator under the dash, hot coolant flows through it, but instead of cooling the coolant, the cool air blows over the hot core and the air is heated.

first trip to the ford dealer after buyin my gt they had a cobra for 2k less than i bought my gt for. but i'm happy with the gt, that and the cobra was a 99 with 30k more miles and shity paint. what im doing is building credit with this car and than when i want to later, i can get a much nicer car for alot easier.
