Car Got Broken Into. Help!

My car was broken into last night. Well, they tried to break into it anyway. They really only managed to bust in the passenger side rear glass and they also managed to tear the top part of the fiberglass piece that is above that glass. I have no idea what that piece is called. I was thinking that when I get the estimate I will have to at least order the glass as soon as possible since I am leaving Spain in 5 months. The fiberglass piece can wait until I get back to the States since it will have to be painted and I was wanting to get my car totally repainted anyway when I get back. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of a website that I can go to and order that glass. I can just pay for it myself and get it ordered as soon as possible and then just wait for USAA to reimburse me.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

there has got to be a glass shop out there where you are somewhere. I'm not sure that you can order glass, its probably too hard to ship.

There are glass shops indeed, but unless I was to drive a Renault or a Seat or some other type of European car then there really isn't much they can do for me. Glass can be shipped, but it is expensive. I have a buddy who was in a wreck and rolled his car. It wasn't totalled, and he decided to fix it and he was able to have a windshield shipped over. That's the only reason I know it can be done.

I am a little intrigued to see what it will cost to have a piece of glass over seas, though it is the back quarter glass so it isin't that big, good luck.

That's the shitty part though... those little windows are expensive! The guy at the autoshop on base here looked the retail price up in some kind of manual and they were anywhere from $1,000 for the clear ones on up to $1,500+ for the tinted ones.

Elite auto glass can do it for $425 is the quote I got...... Better then 1000! I think that includes install and everything. But I am not sure if it is shaded or tinted. I think it is just the basic glass.......

insurance

Do you have comprehensive insurance? I had the window busted out in mine, called same day, reported the claim to Geico, and they had a auto glass shop drive out two days later and fixed it IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. Of course, it was just the glass on mine. All I had to pay was a $250 deductible.
