12's N/A?

Is it possible to reach the 12 second plateau without any type of forced induction on a 99-04 GT? Stock motor/block/4.6/ yada etc....

Full bolt-ons, gears (at least 4.10s), drag radials, and some good driving and you'll get it. A little weight reduction wouldn't hurt.

easily, some weight reduction, a good drag suspension setup, some heads and cams and you should be able to do it easily, my car runs 12.0s and makes 305 rwhp

How about posting that mod list that got you to 12.0. You must be doing something right

well its more in depth than what he has, but it involves a good suspension, and good power band,
but if you check out my garage youll see my mod list. its extensive, but possible to get into the 12s on the stock motor. its possible to run miod to low 13s on a stock mustang, it just doesnt seem many people know how to drive

But if it were "easy" everybody would be running 12's, wouldn't they?

300 rwhp and a solid platform with about 3000 lbs can run into the 11s as long as it can hook. mine 12 flat was on nitto drag radials, and also realise my car is really low compression for tyurbo in the future. its easy to run 12s, people jsut odnt know hwo to drive

Awesome guys thanks. I ran 13.6's with a 2.09 60 foot on my street tires/18 inch chrome wheels. Would you say I could run a 13.2 on drag radials?

last year i went from 13.69 on regular street tires, to 13.22@103 on e.t. streets with a mild tune, 3.55's, and have added a couple things.

a street tire is anything thats street legal, whether it be a drag radials or a street slick, youve got to launch it very aggresively with sticky tires to get the best times.

When i said i was running 12s on steet tires i meant like Daily driver street tires....They're not even SUPER sticky Nitto 555s...They're BFG KWD tires...

and i've dipped into 12.7s....But it hits 12.8s easy.
