Seatbelt Woes.

I just purchased an 02 GT and everything seems to be working great. Except for the seatbelts. Both front belts do not recoil very quickly, are twisted (somehow) and are very tight and hard to pull out. Is this normal? How do I fix this?

i had two break. be careful yanking on them.

cost me 350-400 to get 2 replaced at ford. theres a little arm attched to a spring that allows them to retract. if it breaks they are lock up.

So..does anyone make aftermarket units that correct this problem? (factory fix, not a 5-point or anything)
