SN95 air bags in a New Edge?

Hey I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if airbags out of a 94-98 mustang would fit into a 99-04? I've already tried contacting my local Ford dealership and they were extremely useful

what kind of bags are they, i'm pretty sure the rear bags will interchange from 79-04 and the front bags would only work from 94-04 (sn95)... so you should be good either way unless you are running some sort of aftermarket tublar k-member and a arms up front.

I was talking about air bags as in the safety ones...not the exterior ones.

none stock/OE, but i thought by airbags he was talking about airride's airbags, they make a few different models for the front suspension due to the year differences, but just one style airbag for the rear from 79-04 since it is all 4 link

thought maybe he was thinking of bidding on some used ebay kit or something?

http://www.ridetech.com/

they got some pretty nice stuff, can do wonders for a mustangII, i have been eyeing the airstruts and shockwave kit for the sn-95 but wonder how the kit would hold up to abuse... bags are suppose to be pretty durable

FYI on the safety air bags (not the suspension!! lol)

If you get used ones, you will be hard pressed to find a shop that will install them. It may be different where you are, but I know the dealerships around here say they aren't ALLOWED to install them, because of the "used" condition and they can't guarantee that they won't blow when the reconnect the battery or during install. If the dealership won't do it (which would probably be mad expensive anyway) just get a local place to do it, just make sure they're reputable.
