N20 vs. Cams

Just a little poll for you guys while i'm debating what I do next summer to the 03 engine goin in my 96 GT. I'd like to stay NA but nitrous is easy HP. So i'm wondering if i want to be decently over 300RWHP and i'm getting a CAI, Cobra 80mm Mass air, Accufab plenum and 75mm TB, pulleys, and 24lb injectors. Should I go with the NX plate system or some good Comp Cams?
Let me know cuz i'm sick of this slow 96 engine.

PS i already have full exhaust.

Duece I've been telling you forever to add a set of gears and a tuner. You are definitely gonna need it with having a more powerful engine and adding some boltons.

do a pi intake and p&p pi headswap with a set of cams and header back exhaust. npi cars have shown 99rwhp gains off that. take the 03 motor and forge it and have it ready for a big shot of n2o.

my pockets arent deep enough for that, the 03 engine is going in next summer so the cams would go in it

cams would be nice all around power, but n2o would give a lot bigger gain. the depending on the cam you get, you may not want to use them in the pi motor.

the stock 03 mass air is 85mm,And I thought 24lb inj.were stock(could be 19lb) anyway, I would go for the nitrous if your leaving the internals alone. just go with a smaller shot, like a 100,then if you build in future you already will have the bottle, lines, switches, purge etc already in place for a bigger shot when you forge and add cams. more bang(no pun intended) for your buck imo

unless you are adding nitrous, there is no need for larger injectors.

Cams.
I'm no Fan of "Short Term Power"

Like What if You race someone and win do a re-match and run outta juice?

What Do You tell that guy after he hands You Your butt on a platter?

"Ummm My short term Power Booster Ran out?"

both cams and nitrous...btw, why not put the PI Swap on your 96 GT Block? more compression, more power, better results there...i have a buddy who has a 98 GT w/PI Swap+Full Bolt-Ons+4.30's, slicks, launching at 5k=12.6x N/A...11's on juice....
