"Free Mods"

Are there any for these cars? I know with my F-body there were several that could drop you a good tenth or two. Let me know.

Edit: It's an 02 GT 5spd.

remove spare tire and jack, gut out the trunk completely, remove floor mats, remove MAF filter, tighten the slack in the gas pedal.

thats all i can think of right now, but if you go to Mustangworld.com - The cool website for Ford Mustang enthusiasts in the how-to section, they have a bunch of stuff.

not pertaining to performance, but theres also the shorty antenna free mod and the full reclining seat mod too

he is talking like, p&p maf, maf screen removal, cut out lower air box, t/b coolant hose delete, triggering the fan to help cool car, etc. there are a lot of things free to do to the f-body and gain power, the mustangs arent that way.

not to much stuff. just remove maf screen, air box silencer, and p&p plenum and throttle body. the mustang is kind of a hard car to learn about all the little things, there are a lot of details about them and the differences in years, make, model, engines, etc. the f-body's are a hell of a lot easier and if youre like me, wish you would of stuck the the f-body.

Yes, those are a few. Yeah, sometimes I wish I would have just got another LS1 but I needed a good change so, I'll try to make the best of it. Don't forget about the rear end woes with f-bodys. And the oversize doors...and the bad window motors...and the 16in wheels....and the engine being under the dash...the dash cracking.....so on and so forth.

oh i see...one mod people do alot in the f-body is the smooth bellow..or "frenco mod"..all you do is go to home depot and spend about 4 bucks and you got yourself a smooth bellow instead of the accordion one...heard some good things about it and some bad

Its the rubber 'snorkle' looking thing that is connected to your airbox and fenderwell.
